FUN NIGHT - FRIDAY, FEB 8 5-8 PM
We're excited for Pyrtle's 2019 Fun Night. It offers kids a chance to have a ton of fun and through your generous support, PTO is able to use the proceeds to fund our classroom allocations, pay for field trips that aren't covered by LPS, host staff appreciation meals, and Kindergarten JumpStart - just to name a few.
There will be carnival games, great prizes, a silent auction, a dance party, a bounce house, and of course, The Pancake Man!
Our silent auction gift baskets promise to be a big hit! Please check Konstella and Thursday Folder flyers for items needed per grade. Donations can be sent to school with your child to give to their teacher or dropped off at the office.
There will also be drawings for all kinds of toys including action figures, games, Legos, crafts and accessories. Children will win tickets at game stations which they can then use to enter the prize raffles. Please check out our Amazon wish list to make donations. Any other items are appreciated! All donations should be given to teachers or dropped off at the office by Friday, January 25.

BIKE RODEO - APRIL 18
The Bike Rodeo is a great family event and partnership between Pyrtle K-Kids and Capital City Kiwanis Club. Featuring walking tacos + a drink for only $5.
If a Bike Rodeo is new to you...it's a super fun way for kiddos to learn about and practice safe bicycling. It's all about having fun AND being safe. Bring your bike + helmet and ride your way through 5 skills stations:
- Stopping on a spot
- Slow balance
- Rock dodge
- Figure 8
- Weave through obstacles
We fed about 150 people last year - and hope to serve even more this year. K-Kids donates the proceeds to a charity they will select.
Pyrtle staff will handle registration and serving, but we need food donations to make it successful. Food sign ups will be published on Konstella in early April.
